RIVA


- Riva history

The history of this dolce vita symbol begins at Sarnico in northern Italy on the shores of Lago d’Iseo by Pietro Riva. In 1930 his granson Serafino manages the company being a leader in racing boats and in the fifties his son Carlo makes Riva a symbol of luxury and elegance. Cinema stars like Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot have enjoyed themselfs with them. In 1970 Carlo Riva sold the company and nowadays belongs to Ferretti group. It is a design icon.
